Movie Night - "Facing the Giants"

On Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 7:00pm, c2C had their 2nd "Movie Night." This time we joined together to see "FACING THE GIANTS." But this time, not only did we see the movie but we had a wonderful time sharing snacks, foods, etcs. We ate spiritually and phyisically!!!! YEI! O n Saturday, June 20, 2010 our Deacon: Edy Canel brought a very special word, which he titled “Healing the Wounded” in Spanish “Vendando las Heridas.” Most of us in our lives have been wounded at one point in our lives. Some have been wounded physically, others emotionally, others spiritually and others a combination of all these. The pain and hurt felt through any of these types of wounds, usually leaves a scar behind. A scar that many types is too painful to look at. Each scar is a reminder of those days of tears, agony and pain, where you felt your heart torn apart into pieces and it seemed like there was nothing that could ever put it back together again. Many hidden wounds are found deep in the heart. Some of these are based on past experiences. Examples of such are: Severe Criticism, Hatred, Physical Abuse, Sexual Abuse, Emotional Abuse and even Spiritual Abuse.
